Released in 1975, Falcon was part of the fifth wave of World's Greatest Super-Heroes sold by Mego (alongside Green Arrow, The Hulk, Iron Man, The Lizard, and Green Goblin).
WAVE FIVE
Type 1 Falcon
Between 1975 and 1976, Falcon was available on a Type 1 Planet of the Apes style body with metal rivet joints. Type 1 Falcon was sold in a window box only.
Type 2 Falcon
Beginning in 1976, Falcon was available on a Type 2 body with plastic joints. Most examples have Planet of the Apes style hands. A small number were produced with smooth style hands. Type 2 Falcon was sold in a window box and on the standard card.
