Released in 1973, Tarzan was part of the second wave of World's Greatest Super-Heroes sold by Mego (alongside Spider-Man, Captain America, and Shazam).
WAVE TWO
Type 1 Tarzan
Between 1973 and 1976, Tarzan was available on a Type 1 body with metal rivet joints. Type 1 Tarzan was sold in a window box and on the Kresge-style card.

Type 2 Tarzan
Between 1976 and 1977, Tarzan was available on a Type 2 body with plastic joints. Type 2 Tarzan was sold in a window box and on the Kresge-style card.

Foreign Release
Tarzan was produced and sold by Mego distributor Lili Ledy in Mexico as a fist fighter.
