Mego sold a number of King Kong products in the 1970s, including this 15" plush King Kong doll from 1976, which was also available in a larger 20" size.

The back of the hang tag has the Mego Corp. logo. At the bottom, it reads, "Manufactured by Samet and Wells, Inc. and Distributed by Mego Corp."

A non-Mego version of the same doll was sold by Samet and Wells Inc. and Grand Industries Ltd, with their logo on the back of the hang tag instead. The front of the hang tag looks the same.
